Chess is the only sport where adults and children regularly face off in matches, regardless of age. In fact, it is often the children who emerge victorious. We believe that if children possess the knowledge necessary for competition and victory at such a young age, it is really just a small step from there for them to learn how to pass all of this on to others.
Chess can be a real career, and we enthusiastically support all our students in this area. Our KidTeacher program welcomes students aged 10–18 who want to try their hand at coaching and learn the trade.
During our training program, students gain insight into the fundamentals of chess instruction, coaching techniques, the differences between conducting individual and group training sessions, the development of lesson plans, and methods for assessing students’ understanding of the material.
Upon completion of our program, students will receive a Chess Producer coaching certificate. After passing their exams, we warmly welcome our young coaches to join the teaching staff at our school, as they will be able to teach students ranging from complete beginners to those with a Lichess rating of 1500.
